Day 2

Wow! I lost 5 pounds in just 1 day!!! I know it has to be all water weight but still...5 pounds!!!!

Today's Weight: 193.8
Total Weight Loss: 5

I stayed on plan on day yesterday without any problems. I stayed home all day too which helped. I did get hungry between meals but hopefully as my stomach shrinks a little and gets used to eating this way the hunger pains will subside.

Yesterday's Menu:
Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
Peanut Butter Bar
Chicken Noodle Soup
Strawberry Shake
Grilled Chicken and Grilled Eggplant
Chocolate Pudding

I had never cooked eggplant in any way so I was a little nervous how that would turn out but it was delicious. We grilled it for 15 minutes. I marinated it in the same marinade as the chicken but the eggplant absorbed it so much that it was a little spicey. I was surprised at how "meaty" it was but that helped with feeling full. We grilled enough chicken to last us a few days so tonight we are having the same chicken and I'm going to bake/broil some asparagus to go along with it. I'm not a huge asparagus fan but hopefully it turns out ok.
